I installed Dorico 6 on my PC (Windows 11 23H2 Intel), but I can’t activate it. When I start the activation manager, a blank window pops up and indicates that the program has started, but it doesn’t go further. Even a new installation didn’t solve this issue. So, what can I do?
I assume you’ve tried a reboot, but if you haven’t, start there.
Did you first log in to your account on the Steinberg website and activate there? You have to do that first before you can activate on your local machine. It’s the human icon on the top right of the Steinberg web site.
I’ve helped wibem1 already. It was a graphics driver issue and you have to set a certain environment variable and then SAM will run properly. This is only a really really rare case, but wibem1 was unfortunately struck by it.
