Has anyone got this working on Mac OS 13? Just bought an upgrade to Cubase 14 and the window doesn’t open. I’ve tried the workaround they posted here:
However I don’t see the button that they state should be there (just a dead page pretty much)… Any pointers would be welcome (I’ve emailed support but don’t suspect I’ll hear back soon with holidays etc.). Thanks!
Can anyone else confirm whether the Steinberg Activation Manager is actually opening on your Mac if you are running OS13 (or earlier)? It still doesn’t open for me (shows up in the menu bar, but no window appears)… seems as though its a known issue by Steinberg, but no solution available. Not happy being dead in the water with this.
I think i have the same issue. I can use the download assitant cause I can see Im logged in, but when I open the SAM and click to log in nothing happens… help
After several trials and errors I finally got it working… I deleted the Steinberg Activation Manager application, as well as the folder “Activation Manager” located in Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Steinberg.
Then, instead of re-installing the Activation Manager from the website download, I just re-opened the download manager and it seemingly re-installed the Activation Manager automatically… that one actually opened up and worked, so I’d recommend giving this a try.
Has anyone found another solution - tried all of the above and it does indeed reinstall the activation manager but again, I end up with a blank white box when I open it. I notice this was recent update by steinberg (Nov or Dec) but I’m trying to reload my whole system after clearing my mac hard disk inc cubase 13pro but can’t because of this. There are no legacy products available for the SAM as this was ok before …the last time steninberg support got back to me it took over 20 support tickets before they even responded - any help welcome - thanks, Martyn
