Activation Manager won't open and Cubase license missing after Windows Update

I was using Cubase Elements about an hour ago and while I was away my PC updated and rebooted.

When I went to launch Cubase again it said there was No License Found. I went to open Activation Manager to check on it, the program opens the splash screen and then just hangs there saying ‘Loading, please wait’.

I tried reinstalling Activation Manager but it does the same thing.

Cubase still wont open due to the missing license report.

I solved this by running the Activation manager as Administrator. I also reinstalled Cubase and it was ok after that.

Thanks David, when you say reinstalled Cubebase I’m not sure about that, where would I start?
