Activation on second computer

Does SL8 use the new activation system or do I still need a physical eLicenser for my second computer?

SL8 still requires elicenser at this time.

But can I activate the second computer via software ELC or do I need another dongle?

No need to ‘activate’ on a second computer - you can install on any number of other computers. But you can only run one instance at a time i.e. on the computer with the (your existing) dongle plugged in.

Thanks for confirming no machine activation. I can’t wait for version 9.
