How can I add an instrument change?
I know that Dorico automatically adds changes to a player depending on the music written on the instruments they hold, but what if there are no notes written, only rests?
For context, I am writting an Electronics part with just a few graphic cues for the players and I’d like changing between several “Percussion instruments” that consist of different staff lines configurations (like two lines with a 4-space gap, three lines with 2-space gaps, etc.).
If Dorico doesn’t allow manual instrument changes, is there a good workaround (i.e., one that’s worth doing in Dorico and not an external graphics software)?
