Apologies if this is stupidly basic, but I can’t seem to add players to a score and get them to appear in the right score order. I’m expanding a piano/vocal score to orchestra. I have selected orchestra score order. But every instrument I add (flute, for instance) appears at the bottom of the score. Even if I manage to move one up in the players panel in Setup mode, they stubbornly appear at the bottom of the score. Thanks in advance…
Be sure your layout does not use a custom player order.
Otherwise, dragging the players into the order you want should work.
(And once one starts adding players, each new player frequently appears at the bottom of the list, although specifying “Score order” ought to correct that.)

As usual, my problem is solved here in the forum. Somehow, the custom player order box was checked. (I just needed to figure out that this appears in Layout Options.) Unchecked, and now everything works as one would expect. Thank you, Derrek!
