Adding a system break in the middle of a bar

Hi,
I would like to put a system break in the middle of the second line, but can’t figure a way to do it.

The only way I see is adding a second note and splitting the lyrics between both notes.

Does anyone know a better way to do it?

Well, technically you should display the note again on the new line in chant anyways, right? That’s how I think it should be notated.

Good point. I’m quite new to notating so I didn’t really thought about if that second note was necessary

Yes, I believe it would be standard practice to state the chanting tone again on the new line.
