Adding articulations to stems: move to next note

When I add articulations to my music I select an note and click on the keyboard shortcut. After that I move to the next note with the arrow-right tool. When the note has a second stem or is an chord I have to loop through all those notes before I can add an articulation to the next note.

Do I something wrong?

No, you’re not doing anything wrong. Really when you hit right arrow you should probably get all the notes in the chord selected by default. This will be part of the set of selection improvements we work on in the near future.
