Adding Dynamics To Each Instrument In Score

Hello,

Is there a way to add dynamics vertically for every stave/instrument at the same time? For example, if I wanted a ‘mf’ on all instruments in the score for the first beat of a bar, is there a ‘quick’ way of doing this rather than doing each one individually.

I have tried selecting a note on every stave then clicking a dynamic. This works great for articulations but with dynamics this just places it at the first stave only.

You can alt-click them in, but still tedious compared to F… :slight_smile:

Bump. It has been 7 years now. Any chance these plans are getting executed?

Try doing a system select on a bar, then shift-d ff. What is the result?
Or make a marquee selection across a number of instruments and add say shift-d p<f>p?

One can extend the caret (via SHIFT + DownArrow) and then apply the dynamic once for all.

Furthermore you can also use the function Paste Special/Duplicate to staff above/below, even faster if you assign a shortcut to it in the Preferences (I use com+alt+N or M):
