Adding Files from a Default Folder to a Batch Process does nothing

when trying to use this feature, nothing happens. Only the files in the batch window are processed, the default folder I define, nothing happens to those files. Any Ideas? or a glitch in my program?

PG yes that worked and thank you for replying, but it brings up the question, 1 why didnt that happen automatically, as the little sub menu says “this happens automatically when the batch is run”, and my 2nd question, in the manual when describing this feature, it doenst mention that refresh button,

To have the refresh automatic, you need to activate this option also:
