Hello Fellow Dorico Lovers. I am brand new to Dorico, as of today, and have spent several hours trying to figure this out. BACKGROUND: I am hosting several composing summer camps for my piano students. For their final project, I will upload a drawing that they will create for their piece and want to have that graphic to display under the title of their piece. I purchased the app, as my students will be using iPads for this assignment. After trying out the app, I read that you couldn’t add a graphic in the iOS app. I then purchased the pro desktop version for mac. I created a template, only to then read that I can’t use a desktop template in the iOS app. I would love to figure out how to add each students’ drawing to their pieces. I am so grateful for any help you can give. Thank you!
Hello Mae and welcome to the forum.
You can open any project you have created in Dorico Pro in the iPad version, whether it contains graphics or not. You can’t edit the graphic in the iPad version, this has to be done in Dorico Pro.
A comparison of the versions can be done here:
The area of graphics editing must be covered here, where it says:
Dedicated Engraving Options
iPad version: Limited (with subscription)
