Is there any way to import my Yamaha MODX8 patchnames into Dorico 3.5 so that I can change instruments for a particular track in Play mode of Dorico? I’ve tried to find and upload a MODX expression map with no luck. And I’m not positive that would even accomplish what I’m trying to accomplish? Thanks in advance for any help/answers. Daryl
I’m afraid there’s no simple way to achieve this as things stand. You can route each channel to a particular MIDI device, but you’d need a special kind of playback template to make Dorico choose the right sounds on your MODX8 automatically.
