I’m using Cubase for short animated projects and considering upgrading to Nuendo. I notice in the comparison chart that Nuendo offers 2 video tracks to Cubase’s 1. I’m new to DAWS and was wondering what the second track is used for. I see ProTools Ultimate has 64.

I had many late picture changes very late in the audio postproduction stage and the extra video channel comes very handy for comparing the new cut to the old one or just to keep the previous cut nearby for reference. It happened once that I had to go back to previous edit I made to the old cut. But I never used more than 3… would love to meet the one who used all the 64 video tracks in protools…
