Adjust height of custom playing techniques

Is there a way to align the “text part” of these custom playing techniques?

I created these techniques as glyphs as stickings for a drum set part (right, left, kick). But if a drag the “r” and “l” in the edit playing technique panel up to align them with the base line of the circled “k” it does not work. Dorico always seems to align the base of the glyph itself, no matter how far up I drag the “content” of that glyph.

I could think of manually adding a white SVG to the bottom to make up for the needed space, but that seems like a pretty hard workaround…

Not sure if it helps, but you can select all the playing techniques and right-click and select Playing techniques→Group Playing Techniques. You can edit the techniques to have none instead of a line under continuation, or change it in Engrave mode. As I said, not sure if the alignment will be ok.

Add to the left and right playing techniques a small printable glyph such as augmentationDot (U+E1E7) and set its Scale to 1.00, its Color to white and its Y-scale to a negative value. Adjust the Y-scale value until the baselines of the letters K, R and L are the same.
