Adjust the size of a crescendo and decrescendo hairpin

Hello,

I would like to adjust the size of a crescendo and decrescendo hairpin. However, when I try to change the size, it seems that the scaling is fixed from the center, so I can’t get the result I want.

What I would like to do is make the left crescendo larger and the decrescendo smaller. Could you please let me know how I can do this?

Since it’s a Messa di Voce (i.e. one single object) and not a cresc.-decresc., you must use the properties panel to move its middle point:
