Hi @charlie2, can you please spend some time explaining what the issue is in more details? We cannot read your mind only seeing a screenshot and without a context (please post also a Dorico file). Thank you.
The tile is not helping much.
What does this mean?: ââŚwrite entered rehearsal numbers entered in EngraveâŚâ. You insert rehearsal marks in Write mode, not in Engrave mode.
ââŚwhen they rise above staveâŚâ: what do you mean with âriseâ?. [Ok, I see this now. Thank you @Rikard]
It seems rehearsal number 9 has gone off into outer space (there is one at the bottom of the score). I have no idea what could cause that though as Iâve never seen that before.
Edit > Reset Position should work if you select the bottom Rehearsal Mark in Write Mode. Because if you select it in Engrave Mode, only the bottom one will be selected, so the function wonât be available (as this one is already in place!)
You can see the difference between both kinds of selection in the properties in Engrave Mode: you wonât see the offset (and wonât be able to switch it off) if you select the RM in Engrave Mode, but youâll see it if you select it in Write Mode:
Edit: irrelevant here, see below.
Thanks for the support. I created this score in write mode and added rehearsal marks numbers in, circular frames. These are at top and bottom of the page. The appear in random distances from the top. and bottom.
To adjust them, I switched to Engrave. Some, like the upper (9) in the sent page are up and out of the page. How to properly fix these?

I donât have time to investigate more, but I see that theyâre plenty of text items around this spot, which are causing the offset of the rehearsal mark.
First thing I would do is reset the positions, then disable âAvoid Collisionâ for the text. This way, youâll see all the text items (and the â9â RM) and decide which ones you keep, which ones you delete, and how you organize all of this!
The several same texts, which I see on your email to me, are invisible to me. How to get them visible? Each time I wrote that text, it disappeared, hence the multiple.
Were you able to watch the video and to try to reproduce the steps?
charles_piano, right you are. One fly in the ointment. In Gallery View, the multiple texts and flying RM are out of screen. All is visible and workable in Screen View.
Thanks to all.
This is a post mortem. Unfortunately, as I complete the score, several of the RM have for no discernible reason moved on page.
Iâm afraid weâd need more details to help youâŚ
