Adjusting tempo of an audiotrack

I have a simple question:
Can I adjust the tempo of an audiotrack just by changing the metronometempo?
I need that opertunity. How can I set that?

Cubasis supports real-time time-stretch and pitch-shift, which is explained in the following “Getting started with Cubasis” tutorial chapter:

These are the steps to manually change the tempo of audio loops / tracks, which does not contain any tempo information:

  • Double tap on an audio event in the Arrange Window to open it in the Audio Editor
  • In the Audio Editor: Enter the correct BPM value for the audio track
  • Close the Audio Editor

Once done, the updated audio event will follow bpm changes, once time-stretch has been enabled for the event.
