ADR setup question

Love the new ADR system. However, in the video tutorial on this here:

The setup looks like this, with the stereo out set in the control room:

I always thought that is the control room was enabled, the stereo out should be set to “not connected.” Can anyone explain this convention?

Nice catch. I assume this was not intended.

Had a great session today with the new ADR features today. Loved it! Made it simple (once set up properly) for even actors who had never ADR’d before.
