after using tempo detection how to set the tempo to new BPM?

after using tempo detection on a sample, i get an bpm changing -+4 bpm when playback. How do I specify/convert to a new steady BPM, that i want? I forgot how, but I have done it before but forgot…

I am not in front of CB right now, but if I remember good, you could use “Audio > (some submenu…) > Set Definition From Tempo”. This would use your tempo track to define the bpm changes in your track, afterward, I think it turns the clip to musical mode and then you can do whatever you want with the tempo… not 100% sure, but something like that!
