AI in Cubase?

Pretty much sums it up.

And I just realized I have the ability to make this happen - bet you do too.

Done deleting my stuff hehe

I’m sorry it is not hype it is reality checkout microsoft’s copilot + pc recent presentation

Yes that is because AI IS the next big thing overshadowing all the others of me too features.

Guess it must be true then! :scream: Must rush out to buy a new PC!

I dont mean on a stage, I mean listeners on streaming or download or radio

Its abour DAW´s, Cubase is a DAW

I find that DAW´s are in for a great change and Cubase is a DAW. The topic is the most important for all the music makers and mixing engineers right now if you ask me. If you don’t see this you are naive I think

Its not for you then, but many musicians want to make many good tracks, tracks that reaches the bilboard. Also the music industry is interested in this. Here’s where AI can help them to make “better” tracks, tracks that become hits, and to make many of these fast. This will destroy for those who want “human” tracks, they can not compete. I can be wrong, but this is my prediction of the near future.

No, the AI we have now is not the same as pocket calculators and chess machines. It can do much more stuff; mimicking human emotions, even love, singing. It’s in its very early stages when it comes to making music, but it will soon blow us all, that’s my prediction, I can be wrong, but look at the images, videos created with AI, its terrifyingly good.

So you see no danger in AI? That a kid with a iPhone soon can make a better track than you in ten minutes? With better tracks I mean tracks that get more airtime on radio, streaming. I can be wrong, but this is my view of the near future. Look what AI can do already with text to image like Midjourney, or videoclips, its incredible and scary for me.

Or rather keep your old.,

I posted an actual video about an actual software available today that can be used together with a DAW. That was the very beginninjg of this topic. It seems as many of you missed this. I don’t say I am right, I just want a serious discussion about AI in music making. No one knows what AI will bring.

A true word, yet it doesn’t help much.
Ultimately, the crucial question you have to ask yourself every time is: Do I do it myself or do I let someone/thing else do it (in this specific context, an AI). The news is that it’s now easier not to do it yourself because the AI is waiting there. That didn’t exist before.
But - if I let the AI do it, how do I feel about it? Do I miss the PROCESS of doing it by myself? Or am I happy because I didn’t like doing it anyway, because I don’t have enough time, because the AI can do it better, because, because…
Am I perhaps really only interested in the result anyway, the PRODUCT? And if it is now finally possible to create a product instantly at the touch of a button, is that the fulfillment of my most fervent wishes?
But - what about my relationship with this product then? Can I present it as mine with a clear conscience? Can I be proud of it? Should I reveal that the AI made it, or rather bask in the borrowed glory of AI?
So many questions and by no means all of them…

Well, I didn’t ask you. Thanks for sharing the collective insight of “all the music makers and mixing engineers”, though.

You got me there!

But Steinberg have worked with A Long time now. And nobody say anything about that?

Its like a boxing game discussing with you, complete waste of time. I am humble, cant you see that? You are arrogant and not nice at all. You dont give me your opinion, just tries to trash all I write. If you “don’t want my opinion” then you should not write on my topic at all, OK? This is a forum, we share and discuss opinions. (Its not a sandbox)

Yes that scary for me. I Tryed some magic AI for human yesterday. That stuff need to be banned. But for music i se No problem

Ye in the creation mode and before we start pre mix its good
