I recently exported a crash cymbal sound bite to AIFF from GarageBand for use in Cubase Elements 6 on my Windows desktop. Cubase says it supports this file. The only reason Cubase wanted to convert it was because my project is at 48kHz sample rate while the sound bite was at 44kHz. Cubase went through the usual conversion process and seemed to succeed, but then it crashes. I tried this multiple times and the same crash occurs. I also went to the .wav file it seemed to have successfully written, but it was corrupted and would not play. Any explanation or solution to this problem?
