sono già un felice possessore di Dorico 3.5 e ho appena acquistato la licenza per Dorico 4 (dovrebbero inviarmi il codice entro 72 ore dal mio pagamento, già effettuato tramite Istituto Bancario). Vorrei un aiuto (step by step) per come installare nel modo corretto Dorico 4 poiché ho letto sul forum che parecchi hanno avuto problemi di crash. Io ho un Mac OS Catalina ed uso esclusivamente NotePerformer. Posso lasciare installato Dorico 3.5? Ringrazio tutti quelli che mi daranno un aiuto (oltretutto non conosco la lingua inglese quindi per me è più difficile. Grazie.
You can leave Dorico Pro 3.5 installed. To install Dorico Pro 4:
• Run Steinberg Download Assistant (if you don’t have it, install it from here).
• Click Enter your Download Access Code
• Enter the Download Access Code you received by email after you completed your Dorico 4 update purchase
• Confirm the existing Dorico Pro 3.5 license to be updated when prompted
• Now go to My downloadable products in the left-hand side in SDA.
• Choose the Dorico Pro 4 Update product.
• In the top right-hand corner of SDA, click Install All and wait for everything to be downloaded and installed.
• When everything is download and installed, launch Dorico 4.
• Sign in to Steinberg Activation Manager when prompted.
That’s it. We can’t possibly advise you how to avoid crashes etc. because they are system-specific. There is no general “if you do this, Dorico will definitely never crash” procedure to follow.
