I have a small issue with Title Marker Naming in the Album Wizard.
I am trying to re-name all Markers as “counter with clip name” using the Custom naming option, as there is no such predefined alternative in the drop-down.
So I have defined a Rename Markers preset for
- Insert Counter
- Insert text (" - ")
- Import and Insert Closest Clip’s Name.
And I am saving this as an Album Wizard Preset.
This works, BUT it only works if I set the option for inserting ISRC at the same time!
So if ISRC is unchecked nothing happens…very strange.
And if I add a valid ISRC code and perform the renaming it works, but the next time I open the Album Wizard the ISRC information is gone.
How to recreate:
- Open a montage with clips and open the Album Wizard
- Select “Custom…” in Start Marker naming drop-down
- Define a Rename Marker preset and click OK
- Run the album Wizard with “Generate ISRC codes” option unchecked
- In my cases no renaming is executed and Album Wizard is closed
- Open Album Wizard again and check Generate ISRC Codes
- Add a valid or generic ISRC code
- Click apply to run the Album Wizard again
- Now the renaming should be executed and album Wizard is closed
- Open up Album Wizard again – now the ISRC box is checked but values are gone
I hope you may be able to recreate this and maybe find a solution.
Or enlighten me if there is anything I am missing here!?
Also, as a proposal…
It would be great to have additional predefined presets for naming Markers as Clips with added Number X alternatives in the same way as current options for Specific Name.
The I would not need this workaround!
