Is there any way to align these various tempo markings, all in the same system, so that they align at the same vertical level? There is no feature afaik like “group dynamics” that would align them all together. Of course I can align them manually in Engrave mode but was curious if there was a solution I am missing. Thank you!

Dorico does not offer that feature.
I notice that your rall. …… line is a bit too long, preventing that it gets aligned with the next tempo indication. Select the rall. and use Shift-Alt-Left Arrow to shorten it slightly.
If you really decide to have the first “a tempo” indication of that system to be so high up, you will have to go into Engrave Mode. It might look a bit lost up there…
