I have my default music font set to Finale Legacy which has copied over to all the Font styles, yet for any accidental in a text box, I get a handwritten style that I cannot figure out how to change:
That glyph is determined by Library / Character Styles / Music Text. I’m not sure the MakeMusic fonts are actually 100% compatible here. You might just want to use Bravura Text for that setting if they aren’t.

Finale Legacy (Petrucci) has only 415 characters (compared to Bravura’s 3,500!!), and you’re bound to end up with missing glyphs (or just have them substituted by another font).
It doesn’t have stave braces, bracket wings, wavy lines for trills or arpeggios, harmonics, metric modulations, assorted playing techniques…
And even the creator of Petrucci is somewhat embarrassed about the design…

This was actually set to Pataluma in mine! I changed it to Finale Legacy and things are looking much more like I want.
