All parts contain flute 1

Hi!

I strugle to explain my problem. My score looks the way I want it to, but when I open the individual parts all of them contain flute one in one stave and the actual instrument in a stave under. What have I done wrong and how do I fix it?

Welcome to the forum, @lassebergmann6

  • Goto Setup Mode (CTRL/⌘ 1), open the left (CTRL/⌘ 7) and right (CTRL/⌘ 9) zones .
  • In the right zone select the first part below the full score (it must be light blue).
  • in the left zone check/uncheck the players you need.
  • Go down and change the other parts accordingly.

The steps @Vadian gives can be done in 1 step.

Select all layouts on the right where you want to remove the flute, then uncheck the flute player on the left.

(You probably have accidentilly done the reverse to create this)

Thank you for fast response. This solved it!

This is good information for me. I can use this (in reverse) to group several percussion parts so the percussionist doesn’t have to juggle pages; for example, a triangle and tambourine that don’t play at the same time. Thank you.
