Hello,
I would like to have a focused workspace where i can see just the MixConsole and Instrument Rack. Could you add either the ability to hide the project zone so that i can have the lower zone take up the space or add the instrument rack tab to the right zone in the MixConsole?
You can open the instrument rack in a separate window (Studio menu) and have it floating on top of the Mix Console.
also, it would be nice to be able to only show the mixconsole window as well. i just tried to get rid of the project window and it looks like you absolutely have to have one open to work in cubase. my workflow is to midi into vst instruments then record when i have all of the sequencing figured it out. so it would be nice to create a workspace with just the mixconsole and my instrument rack to focus on my ideas
Why don’t you do just that?
You can create a global workspace:
Close/minimize everything in the project window apart from the right zone with the instrument rack and pull this window to the right of your screen. Now, open the mixer window and let it fill out the remaing space of the screen. Saved as a global workspace you can recall the configuration exactly like you left it with both windows side by side.
