Allowing/Blocking VST 3 plug-ins - can't find VST 3 disabling in the manual

Can I disable startup loading of certain VST 3 / AU instruments?

(Arturia, Native Instruments, Steinberg, VSL etc.)

I’d like to open up Dorico SE 6 quicker, and it takes at least a minute with every startup.
I only use NotePerformer.

Thanks Lillie_Harris, but no this setting is related to the old VST 2 instruments which I don’t use :slight_smile:

You cannot block specific VST3 plug-ins, I’m afraid. This is something we may add in future, but for the time being no such capability exists.

(You can of course move them out of their standard location before you start Dorico, but that means they will also be unavailable to other applications on your system until you return them.)
