Alphatrack and cubase 5 troubleshooting

Hey guys!
I just recently bought an alpha track off eBay and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make it work with cubase 5. I have the full version of 5 but when I click to add a device on the device set up, it doesn’t give me the option to select the alphatrack controller. I installed the software and the update. I also I put the “cubase.bundle” file in the components folder under my audio plug-ins. But still nothing.
I am using 10.7 lion on my Mac book pro.
I’m thinking about downgrading back to 10.6.8 since my Mac is too old to update to mountain lion. Would this help? Or what am I doing wrong? I appreciate you’re help!
Thanks!

Hi Sam,

sorry, no solution but the same problem. That is, I can use the transport buttons. Set the AT manager to ProTools HUI and in the device setup chose Mackie HUI. But only fader 1 works. The rest of the AT behaves kind of weird.

Have you found a solution yet?
