Alt Control down arrow

I’m finally getting to work with Dorico and am in the First Steps booklet going thru the samples. On page 19 there’s a step to move a note down an octave by pressing Alt-Ctrl+down arrow. When I do that, the screen blanks and when it comes back the entire page is flipped upside down. Doesn’t matter what down arrow I use - on the main keyboard or in the numeric keypad region. On an HP pc running Windows 10. Very unnerving. Help!

This was most helpful. I was able to do what the link stated and chose Ctrl+Alt+q and Ctrl+Alt+r because they weren’t used anywhere in Dorico and then the Ctrl+Alt+up and down arrow worked. Yeah!!!
