Alternate loop in Halion 6 keeps stopping

I have several samples that I imported into Halion 6. I set loop points within the samples, and set the the alternate option so that the samples sustain. However, they keep cutting out instead of alternating/sustaining.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I’d try having two complete layers, one for each sample.
Loop the samples and cycle the layers with mega-trigs.

I’m assuming you want round robin of two (or more) samples that sustain with loop points? Put them each in independent layers to either cycle or crossfade.

Hi. Thanks for the response. I changed the loop option from “alternate” to “until release”. This appears to have fixed the issue. It isn’t as smooth a transition as using “alternate”, but tweaking the cross fades helps. Thanks.
