I am trying to notate a song with instrumental (ukulele) introduction and interludes between verses.
For the sung sections I just need the melody, lyrics and chord symbols. However for the intro and interludes I need music plus TAB.
Does anyone have advice about the best way to achieve this in a space-saving format.

If tab is shown, it’s shown throughout, so you can’t choose on a per-system basis whether notation or tab should appear. You may need to consider adding a second player with a ukulele, so that the first player can show notation only, and the second player can show tab only, then use manual staff visibility changes to hide the tab player when you don’t want to see it.
