Hello there.
I just bought the Cubase Elements 9.5 recently. After installing it and running the soft e-licencer, the shortcut icon on my desktop says Cubase Elements LE Ai Elements 9.5. Is this correct? I am getting a little confused on what I have bought. Thank you. 
AFAIK yes, that is correct. Cubase LE/AI/Elements are actually the same software, just the license dictates which version you will run.

Should be as simple as going to the help menu and then use the “about” tab. Or checking the license.
