Amplitube Recording

Hi,
I’ve started recording using Amplitube as a send in a stereo track.
Is there a way to record with Amplitube so that the Outputs are recorded in a left and right track ?

Are you saying you want to lock in the effect from AmpliTube as part of your audio recording? If so, may I ask why?

I would (and do) just use it as an insert on a stereo audio track. Maybe you have reasons for not wanting to do that. If so, please explain.

Hi
I’ve always saved the actual effect (2 mono tracks) from a Line 6 Pod and the dry signal on a stereo track.
This is for the future so If Amplitube changes in any way you have the original.
It’s like having to save old Cubase for old projects.
Same with presets and third party Fx .

Do you really want two mono files?

Okay, that’s good. I thought you were saying that you wanted to only record the wet signal.

I don’t understand why you want to “print” the effected signal at the same time you are recording it (although it can be done, depending on which Cubase version you are using - which you haven’t mentioned).

Why not just record to a stereo track with AmpliTube as an insert? After recording, you can tweak things however you want. When you are satisfied, render/export a new file and put it on a new audio track. Then you have your original, dry file track and your track with AmpliTube mixed down. You can disable the original to conserve resources and carry on from there. If you want a new version, enable the original track. Tweak away and repeat.

I’m recording into a stereo track and using it as an insert. I have 13 Pro.
I’m using the render to get what I need thanks
