Non riesco a capire perché quando digito Cmaj7 mi viene scritto C7.
Non riesco a risolvere questo problema. Qualcuno può spiegarmi come impostare in modo corretto i simboli di accordo come da fabbrica?. Allego 2 immagini ed un file di Dorico. Aspetto con ansia un vostro aiuto. Grazie

Questa confusione l’ho fatta io già su Dorico 3.5; non capisco perché installando Dorico4 si è portato dietro questo pasticcio!
Richiedo un aiuto specifico che mi ha già dato Daniel: quello di inviarmi un userlibrary.xml da sostituire al mio. @Daniel: mi avevi già risolto il 7+; potresti risolvermi tutti quelli che sono sbagliati?

P.S.: perchè nella cartella Dorico4 l’icona di molti file (come userlibrary.xml) è quella di MuseScore? …è giusto così?
Volevo anche dire che quando faccio clik su Salva come predefinito, dopo la modifica di un simbolo di accordo, Dorico4 va in crash.
…ho disinstallato e nuovamente installato Dorico 4 ma non è cambiato nulla! Aiutatemi.

Rimane però il problema che Dorico 4 va in crash quando si va in Libreria→Simboli di accordo→Salva come predefinito (vedi allegato).
Gradirei mi fosse data qualche risposta. Ringrazio chi lo farà.

However, with regards to what seems to be your initial question about “why is Cmaj7 appearing as C7 instead”, what are your settings in Engrave > Engraving Options > Chord Symbols? There are many, many options for how different components of chord symbols appear. There’s a note at the end of the task for inputting chord symbols that mentions that the ultimate appearance of chord symbols in the music depends on these settings.
You should go through those options and customize them in the first instance, as if the option exists, it’s likely changing that will be much easier and quicker than editing chord symbols in the editors.

Quindi le domande sono 2: 1) perché sostituendo l’userlibrary.xml la scruttura dei sinboli di accordo è OK?
2) perché Dorico va in crash?

There are no crash logs included in your latest diagnostics file, so unfortunately I’m unable to tell exactly why Dorico is crashing when you click Save as Default in the Project Default Chord Symbol Appearances dialog.
Since you don’t appear to want the chord symbol appearance overrides you have saved in your user library file, I have removed all of them, retaining all of your other customisations.
As before, replace the userlibrary.xml file in your user-level Dorico 4 data folder with this one, and then run Dorico. You should find no chord symbols listed in the Project Default Chord Symbol Appearance dialog thereafter.
Innanzitutto grazie. Anch’io purtroppo, non conoscendo l’Inglese, mi affido sempre a Google Traduttore. Se può interessarti ho sostituito userlibrary.xml di Dorico 4 con userlibrary.xml di Dorico 3.5 e sembra che tutto sia OK. Ora non so se lasciare tutto così o mettere il userlibrary.xml che mi hai allegato tu. Cosa faccio? Grazie e scusami se ogni tanto ho desiderio di conoscere subito la risposta.
It’s up to you: if you’re happy with the saved chord symbol components that you are seeing in Dorico 4 now that you’re using your saved 3.5 user library, then continue with that.
