One of the things I like to do (since I was a wind player most of my life) is to reset hymns for instrumental ensembles-trios, quartets, quintets. There is, I think a rich heritage in many of the classic hymns worthy of new expressions which can give them new appreciation and recognition..
This is the hymn “Softly and Tenderly.” I used NP 5.0 with GPO 5 for flute, BBC SO Core for clarinet, bassoon & glock., and Prime for oboe and horn.
