I’ve had CPro 14 on my Win11 PC. I bought the 15 upgrade during the sale, but still haven’t installed it. Any advice or words of warning before I do that? It looks like it might be an upgrade so 14 goes away on my PC (in case something doesn’t work for me)?
Cubase 14 does not “disappear” it’s installed in its own directory, just as previous versions.
What @Dave_B said.
You’ll not only keep everything as is (it only requires little disk space) but Cubase 15 will also automatically migrate your settings from Cubase 14 to Cubase 15.
It doesn’t hurt to save most of your settings via Profiles, though. But that’s just general advice. While I am at it, also have a look at this awesome backup function if you are on a Windows system.
