I see that Cubase 11 says that Mojave is the oldest Mac OS supported. The 5,1 Mac Pros don’t run Mojave unless we use a non-supported Metal graphics card. I don’t really want to go that route, and I’m not ready to drop the coin on a new Mac Pro. Anyone running C11 on the cheesegrater?
I am using that exact setup.
It is running great, lower load than Cubase 8.5 and 9 with the same projects.
I’ve probably had 25-30 hours use so far he only problem I am having is crashes when I have forget and open 2 Fabfilter plugins at the same time. I haven’t had time to look into that in detail yet, will report back when if I resolve it.
Great to hear. Thanks!
I logged in today to ask the High Sierra question.
Although I’m using a mid 2014 Macbook Pro i7.
So, CB11 on High Sierra is working ok?
I’m still reluctant to install Catalina.
Thanks.
I downloaded it and tested it out for a couple hours with no issues. I really like a few of the new features. I haven’t done any of my real work on it though, still keeping 10.5 for that of course, but 11 loaded up fine and didn’t seem to do anything weird for me.
