Hi, I’m trying to see if anyone else has noticed this behavior. When I try to apply a groove quantize preset to a chopped audio segment, the position parameter in the quantize interface seems to have no effect. I’m confused, because this parameter seems to do what its supposed to when I apply the groove to midi tracks. I’d like to be able to move the events only part way to the fully quantized positions.
Also, can anyone tell me exactly what information is gathered when you lift a groove from a previously recorded audio or midi loop? Is it just the positions of the events/notes/hits? Is it just picking up on swing and onbeat offset?
