I’m hoping someone can confirm if what I want is possible in cubase Pro 10
I want to create a reggae cover of a popular song.
I use chordify to find the chord progression and download the piano midi files. The notes are computer generated, so are too long in length/duration for a reggae piano ‘bang’ think chink chink, they also have no velocity, variance on timing etc.
I want to be able to apply the length, velocity and timing from a piece of live midi that a friend recorded for me (I’m learning music so cannot yet play chords). Is this possible to store as a profile/setting that I can then easily apply?
