Arranger issue: cubase plays at different undesired parts of the project chain

There is an issue with the Arranger, where Cubase plays at a different part of where the cursor actually is.

I will show you an example with one of my projects:

Here you can see that the cursor is at part D, so when I press play then it should resume the reproduction from there, right? However, what actually happens is that it immediately jumps to the previous part of the chain (in this case is G).

This is annoying because I have to move the cursor in random ways until cubase actually plays the project right where the cursor is. This issue also affects when I press record, because it immediatly stops the record when it does the jump bug.

The only way I can make sure that it always reproduces the part I want is by placing the project cursor right at the end of the previous part, as you can see in the next screenshot:

However, the problem of recording anything shows again because when I press Record it immediatly stops when it jumps to the next part (D).

Hi,

As the Arranger mode is enabled, Cubase doesn’t take the Cursor position in account. It takes the position in the Arranger in account. Your last played part was the C part. The next one is the G part. Therefore Cubase starts playback the G.

If you want to control the cursor from the project area, disable the Arranger mode, please.
