I have a problem: the switches for Key and Scale are not working. It doesn’t matter whether I click in the piano roll or press the corresponding key on the keyboard. A change is displayed, but there’s no audible difference. The issue occurs both in the HALion 7 standalone version and in Cubase. I haven’t tried it on an instrument track yet. I’ve also reinstalled the instrument, but that didn’t help. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and managed to fix it?

Same here. Will contact support first. And if this cannot be solved, I will ask for a refund.
I first contacted Steinberg Support. They told me they weren’t responsible and referred me to the manufacturer. I got the contact details from Steinberg. But I didn’t get any help there either. The only reply I received was that it works fine for them. I then wrote again in more detail, also because something else wasn’t working properly, but I never got a response. Really lousy support. Very bad. I actually wanted to write to them again to say how bad I find their support, but I never got around to it. Maybe they’ll start caring if there are more complaints.

Ah ok and good to know. So it looks like I should ask directly for a refund. Besides that, I found out, that it works under certain circumstances, with some presets. Thing is, this app is very limited. The only way to control chords, is to use the poly mode.
Unfortunately, Steinberg doesn’t have any other apps for electric guitar in its repertoire. I thought about it for a long time and watched the available videos. However, the selection isn’t that great if you want to work without Kontakt Player. Usability is also important to me. What’s more, the price for Artefakt has just been reduced. Comparable VST apps cost almost twice as much. AmpleSound for example.
I want to return it, if that’s possible. It’s the worst app I have ever bought
New Update but I still have the problem that the scale and key functions do not work. Support also did not provide any helpful guidance, and that was several months ago. Maybe someone can explain it.
