Artificial harmonics string indicator for open string shows fingering not string

Hi,
I am working on some artificial harmonics for guitar and I was wondering why the string indicator for the open string does not show the actual string number, but rather the fingering “0”? Is this normal? In my example it’s the open D and A string and I rather expected the circled 4 and 5. It is working fine for the stopped string though.
