Sorry, maybe I’m missing something… Why would you do this?
For most people, messing with your computer registry may not be a wise thing to do …unless you really know what you are doing, I woulden’t recommend it.
It’s a name change. It is simple. It will not affect anything else.
You would want this to delete any Asio driver you did not want. And also to customize your driver names. So they might be more easily identifiable.
