ASIO usage issue.

Hi,
I have a problem with my new computer (see signature) whereby even with a smallish project the ‘Average load’ meter shows an abnormally high, about 60%, reading whilst the ‘Real-Time’ meter hovers near zero. It’s even worse with Steinberg Power Scheme enabled. This should not be happening with a machine this powerful…

I’ve seen other similar post but I can’t remember if anyone resolved this issue.


Any ideas?

Chekc in windows if you’re runing on the 8 cores…a friend of mine had issues with Protools…he discovered that he only used one core!!

The i7 5930K has only six cores and they are all running.
