I was wondering if it is possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to increase or decrease the volume?
I found the commands when you have the fader selected.
But it’s from the work area that I’m interested in.
You know, like external faders, pluggable.
You just select a track and you can manipulate the volume. Using keyboard shortcuts only
I hope I’ve explained well what I’m trying to do.
Not freely, unfortunately… By using automation Trim you can adjust selected nodes using a PLE preset bound to a keystroke though.
I suspect it will only be useful to you if you don’t have other automation on the track, and you still have to select the node (though that could be done using another PLE or key command)
what you can do is adjust the control room volumes with a dedicated knob. If you have one available on a midi keyboard or controller.
If you’re on Windows and don’t mind setting up a 3rd party script, AHK with this library should do the trick.
