Assign external controller to sustain pedal function

Hi,

I would like to use my external controller, Novation Twitch, as a sustain pedal replacement in Cubase 5. It seems to be a simple task but I can’t figure it out.

The twitch sends a note on message (eg E0 - on). Now, I need to transform this message into a CC64 message. Can I do that and if so how?

This is a job for the Input Transformer. (P. 595 english manual.)
