Maybe there’s a way to do this … if so learn me up!
There a lot of great AU plug ins now which output midi autonomously … eg the Rosetta suite. Would it be crazy to have “Source” plugin slots which would make their midi outputs available as sources to all midi tracks? Then I could route one instance of a generative source to many intruments each via their own Midi processing on their track inserts.
Or maybe any AU midi plug in just becomes available as a source .
It’s kind of a patch bay approach … but no matrix grid!
