The current audio alignment, currently has two boxes to choose: match words, perfect time shifting. Assume you want to align two audio events that are of of the same length but the two tracks start and end perfectly together but in the middle they are not and you want to align them as in the image:
The new option give us the option to hold beginning and/or end of the target audio event fixed. I suppose this new feature would extend the functionality of the “align audio”.
