unfortunately the Play mode is troubling me again… the core audio device (and headphones etc) only show up as mono devices, while clearly being stereo (see picture).
What do I have to do to get stereo playback back?
I am on a Macbook Pro 2019 on Catalina.
How about the actual audio that comes out, is that also only mono, respectively only coming on left or right?
There are cases where Dorico gets reported those weird names, where the second one is simply an empty string, but that’s just names, the audio is still correct.
Or is also audio wrong with you?

It seems that if I connect my Bose QC35 via bluetooth, they play back as mono, but if I connect them with a headphone jack the sound is actually stereo despite the name, you are right. I guess the issue lies within the bluetooth connection?
I will use the cable connection for now… thank you!
